The year was 2008 and I was embarking on a journey. I had not planned on this, so it was quite the surprise when I learned I was going to Cancer Land! To keep the many friends and family informed I started sending out bi-weekly emails to let them know what was going on and my thoughts. The list got so long that I started a blog, it was called Winlynn's Wonderful Adventure! After I had finished treatment and declared that I was in remission, I got busy just living life and failed to keep my blog updated and now I cannot find it. I thought everything on the internet stayed there forever, but alas my blog I cannot find.
My original blog was the result of a Breast Cancer Diagnosis. I had originally been emailing friends and family about my cancer journey, yes I call it a journey and I will explain why in a later post. I got so many positive responses and suggestions that I should start a blog because they found the information so helpful. They found it helpful because not everyone on this journey wants to or feel able to share what they are going through. Lucky for me I have hard copies so I will add those posts to this blog later.
I failed to keep up with my blog, although I am never at a loss for words.
So here I am back after my hiatus with plenty to say. I will write about
* The return of my breast cancer ( Metastatic Breast Cancer aka Stage IV)
* How I will find new homes for the collection of Ladies Antique compacts my mother had curated,
* My love of sewing
* My goal of making an actual old fashioned quilt ( you know like grandma used to make? from fabric I have on hand and not a kit!)
* How true love found me at age 65!
All the above and more random thoughts on life, living, faith and other random thoughts.
I do have hard copies of my original blog, so I will add that also.
